ChemPal searches **27 chemical suppliers**, all chosen because they **sell to
individuals and ship to residences**. A single search queries every enabled
supplier at once.

## What "Ships" means

| Value | Meaning |
|-------|---------|
| **Worldwide** / **International** | Ships to customers in other countries (including yours, in most cases). |
| **Domestic** | Ships only within its own country. |
| **Local** | Ships within a limited local area. |

In the [results table](Results-Table) each product shows its supplier's **Country**
(as a flag) and **Shipping** scope, so you can see at a glance whether it can reach
you.

## Choosing which suppliers to search

You have a few ways to control this:

- **Just this search** — use the **Search Suppliers** filter in the
  [Search Filters](Search-Filters) side panel to pick specific suppliers for a
  single search. All suppliers are included by default.
- **Ship-to-me only** — turn on **"Only suppliers that ship to my location"** in the
  side panel to automatically drop suppliers that can't ship to the country set in
  your [Settings](Settings).
- **Permanently** — in **Settings → Supplier Status**, switch a supplier off to
  remove it from *all* searches and from the supplier filters entirely.

## Suppliers that aren't currently searchable

A handful of suppliers are built into ChemPal but **turned off** because their
websites went offline or changed — for example, a vendor that was removed from its
marketplace, or a store that's mid-rebuild. They're kept in the code so they can be
switched back on if the site returns, but they won't appear in your searches today.
